Yes MGS for PS2 outsold Taiko for PS2 in Japan but not by very much. If you consider Wii has a larger userbase than PS3 then perhaps it wouldn´t be so strange if it outsold MGS 4? And I might add it won´t be a sad day for gaming if that happened since both games sold very well. People just have different taste.
