Don't get me wrong guys. This game is really fun. And definitely the best tennis game on the Wii. Grand Slam Tennis is not shovelware. A lot of time went into making this game, and its undoubtedly going to be a huge new franchise for EA.
I am just saying that this game will not set any standards for 1:1 controls. As a tennis game though, it is really good and really fun too, and it will probably sell millions of copies.

I am a few hours deeper into the game. So let me go a little further into the game.

1. Firstly, you will not have to be cutting out the Wii Motion Plus from its condom. Yes, it comes inside the condom, but it can be removed quite easily. And trust me, you will want to do that because, having tried out the condom for the first time ever today, well its horrible. It makes the Wiimote really heavy, and gets all sweaty. Not recommended!!!!
2. I tried playing this game sitting down, and i guess you might be able to play this sitting down with the minimal of motions. But honestly, it just won't recognize your moves as well. So no, this game is not all waggle.
3. I guess i am the only person in my wii connect area with this game, as there are exactly 0 people online besides me.
4. I have been playing this game on Grand Slam mode. I have noticed that playing baseline players is easy, as going to the net pretty much ensures you the point (on easy mode). But so far, when playing against a net player, on their serve, they will almost always come to the net too and win the point. Which, considering the fact that i can't seem to set the tie break mode on, means that games go on forever. I finally won my last set 23-21. So hopefully i will figure some great way to pass players at the net, or these games are going to start to get a little repetitive.
5. There are a lot of tennis players in the game. Kudos to EA for getting so many great tennis players to take part in this game. Nadal, Federer, both Williams Sisters, Chris Evert, Navratilova, Hewitt, Becker, Edberg. These are just some of the players i have encountered so far. I am still praying that Agassi will be an unlockable player, but i guess i will just have to play on to find out.

So again, if you like tennis games, you may just want to get this game. If you are looking for the Wii Motion Plus experience, stick to Tiger Woods or Wii Sports Resort.
