When KH launched, PS2 wasn't the kid friendly console it is today and it still sold well and gained critical acclaim. Also, despite the look the characters, the issues addressed in the game are pretty mature (Identity being a massive one). Also, Sony is not stupid, they know KH is a great franchise and one of the few PS2 exclusives that has wound up on the 360 yet. Now that they are starting to hit their stride software wise, I'm sure they'll do their best to keep it exclusive to PS3 or at least appear on the platform. Just look at how desperate they were to show off the Agent and FF14:Online. So I'm hoping it goes to the PS3 (exclusive or not), so that I can play it (I have a Wii aswell, but I don't really think KH should go there, or at least not the next main one). Also, I don't want motion controls (or at least, not keyblade motion controls). |
Reading this makes me think if it does go to Wii that Nintendo will release a keyblade controller like the steering wheel for Mario Kart.
The world will have died when we are forced to swing around white plastic swords for entertainment.
