I really hope this thread doesn't become technical... because most arguments will be wrong.

I agree. Truth is, the technical difference in these games is nearly indistinguishable to the untrained eye. Artstyle is what sets them apart to the commoner. That is why people should pick these games up based on what consoles they own, and gameplay/reviews/artstyle, and not try to worry about which one looks better. They both look good enough to where anyone can argue either side, and be right. They are both technically amazing, and no amount of technical jargon can convince fans of either one that their game looks inferior.

Forza 3 looks amazing, and better than anyone expected. Enough said.

I was meaning the fact GT doesnt use the same graphical techniques as Forza which is why while GT5 has 200,000 polygons and Forza has a million polygons per car. GT uses a different form of modeling that uses less polygons.

Yeah, agreed. I think the whole "polygon" thing was a talking point to begin with. The end result of something is what matters, not how it was built.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.
