Not a big franchise in terms of sales, but in terms of reputation:
The Wii will get Tales of Monkey Island for WiiWare, the new episodic game of the most important classic p&c adventure franchise (and the biggest one outside Myst). Granted, adventure fans are usually PC gamers, so most of the MI fans will get the PC version, but for me it was interesting to hear that this game will be console exclusive on Wii (probably timed exclusive, but interesting nevertheless).

Also: With Dirt 2 and F1 2009 the Wii finally gets interesting 3rd party racers, the long awaited RPG lineup is shaping up with Muramasa/ARF/Fragile, RE/SH/Cursed Mountain/Dead Space for the (survival) horror fans, Virtua Tennis, A Boy and His Blob, Indiana Jones, Spyborgs, Overlord, Red Steel 2, The Conduit, Little King's Story (NA), Tales of Symphonia: DotNW (PAL), future million seller Mario & Sonic's Winter Edition and so on.

I think every Wii owner will find their personal big title(s) in this year's very diverse 3rd party lineup (or in Nintendo's own new games and NPC remakes).

And to answer the TC's question about big fall/holiday titles: Regarding sales, I don't think it can get much bigger than NSMB.Wii, Wii Fit Plus and Wii SR.
