TGS ‘09: Kojima’s Next Gen Tech, Playable Build of Last Guardian?

If you thought E3 2009 was the big budget party, then the Tokyo Game Show ‘09 would be the after hours rave (only, in Japan): Sleeker, more nuanced and in some cases, more sublime than insane. After debuting Metal Gear Solid Rising and Portable Ops: Peace Walker, sources tell us Konami’s Hideo Kojima is already working on next generation tech and that we’ll most likely see a demonstration at this year’s TGS.

That’s not all. It seems Fumito Ueda and Team ICO’s The Last Guardian will be present in full flow this time around. This could possibly mean playable builds and definitely new gameplay footage.

TGS 2009 will be held from 24th September to 27th September at Makuhari Messe in Mihama-ku, Chiba. The first two days are reserved for gaming industry professionals and the later two days for the public.
