| Million said: For a few reasons. 1.MMO's are generaly cheaper to make than offline RPG's . 2.MMO's are potential more profitable than offline RPG's and for longer periods of time. 3.Square probably has some sort of legal obligation to give Sony a FF game , #14 happens to be it. And we pretty much know for certain that this one isn't going multi-platform , Sony would ensure it was exclsuive to avoid embarassment (again) and Square Enix wouldn't want bad PR for lying twice about the exclusivity of FF. |
It's coming to the PC, is multiplatform, and SE said they are looking at "other platforms" as well, so unless that platform is the Wii, this is a timed console exclusive, which isn't exactly impressive for a "megaton"
Especially considering this is a MMORPG, and not a JRPG.
