WHY IS IT A MMO?

1.MMO's are generaly cheaper to make than offline RPG's .
2.MMO's are potential more profitable than offline RPG's and for longer periods of time.
3.Square probably has some sort of legal obligation to give Sony a FF game , #14 happens to be it.


And we pretty much know for certain that this one isn't going multi-platform , Sony would ensure it was exclsuive to avoid embarassment (again) and Square Enix wouldn't want bad PR for lying twice about the exclusivity of FF.

It's coming to the PC, is multiplatform, and SE said they are looking at "other platforms" as well, so  unless that platform is the Wii, this is a timed console exclusive, which isn't exactly impressive for a "megaton"

Especially considering this is a MMORPG, and not a JRPG.
