Thinking they are overdoing it is fine. It is people thinking that this doesn't belong in gaming are the issue.
Some will love and some will hate it.
One of my favorite series of movies growing up and even now is Friday the 13th. I love it because of the excessive brutality. This is also why I absolutely love GoW. The more brutality there is the happier I am.
Yes that may sound sick but I a person who is totally non-violent. I won't even hit my dog if it bit me.
