In the battle of sales in the land of the rising sun it´s long been claimed that thirdparties don´t sell on Wii. But Namco-Bandai´s Taiko Drum Master Wii (currently the top selling thirdparty title on Wii) is a seller with some great legs. While it´s debut were not huge it´s now slowly catching up to Metal Gear Solid 4 (the biggest third party selling title in Japan)
According to Famitsu:
Metal Gear Solid 4 700k
Taiko Drum Master 560k
That´s 140 k to go but with the legs Taiko´s got I think it will make it. What do you think?
For the record, the biggest selling Taiko game in Japan is for PS2 with 743 k according to Famitsu. Maybe Wii version will outsell that one too?
