I think Forza 3 will crack 5M+ overall units sold.

GT5p sold 3.7 million, can you understand what it means when a $40 1/10th of a full game sales that much ??? Its not rocket science. That shows how strong a franchise really is. especially when there wasn't ANY racing game on ps3 - sorry, but even as buggy game as Race Pro would sell milions if on its system wasn't any real racing title.

Even if F3 is that much better then F2 that wont translate into much better opening sales, its just not that big a franchise to open that big. You want a good seller to magically become a juggernaut like GT or Halo, sorry that does not happen. and you don't get it that Forza 1 and Forza 2 made a really loyally fanbase? in first 2 weeks Forza 2 sold half of Forza 1 lifetime sales.


GT5p first week sales were nearly double of Forza2.

640K vs 350k

PS3 was at 11m give or take, 360 was at around 10m.

Forza 2 sold almost 4mln GT5p sold 3mln

So what fanboy booze are you drinking to think Forza3 is capable of numbers anywhere near a full GT game, when its opening sales it gets its ass beat by Prologue ?

looks like ps3 fanboys are in denial bacause there is a strong chance that Forza 3 will do better than their beloved psx title with improved graphics. well it will be better gameplay wise and probably in graphics department as well(or equally good) and still will be released years bofore their game.
