| coolestguyever said: I'm going to totally disregard you first statement (not to mention the games) but that is really what bugs me about the wii. I'll start by saying Mario, Zelda, Metroid are amazing, and the motion controls are really fun (played wii sports once). With that said, 80% of the games on the wii are shovelware it seems. It bothers me that a system with so many lousy games sells so much better than the PS3 which has a lot more choices, mainly because of price and the attention its gotten (ie, ophrah/Ellen Degeneris). Other than that I'm just biased because I don't own a Wii. There, I admitted it. |
I agree with the whole shovelware on Wii. They suck, yet their purpose is bring in novice gamers. I have mix feelings about this, okay less great games on the Wii for us experience gamers, but a smart business tactic for the industry to grow. So I learned to dealt with some (to an extend) sacrifice to be made to wait so LONG for games that High Voltage Systems are bringing.
Now that the other companies are following the same path as Nintendo's doing, I will feel very sorry for the experienced gamers out there have to go through the same thing that us Wii owners ENDURED (hopefully see the light in at end of the tunnel).
PS. I feel sorry for your biased opinion towards the Wii. I'm an avid Mario fan, but I sure don't have any grudge against the Microsoft nor Sony.
