I think it has something to do with the original Wiimote not registering accelleration slower than 20cm/s^-2. That meant that people had to 'waggle' the mote like a dog to get it to respond. As the Sony mote, Motion+ and Natal are more sensitive, I think that complaint will die off or the meaning will become more friendly over time.
Perhaps Natal will be referred to as a spasm? Epileptic fit? convulsion? Interface.
