Agreed for the most part, although I don't think Microsoft would have to introduce some crummy new peripheral for every game that requires a controller if they just come up with some sort of wand of their own. I think "you are the controller!!!!!!11111" is more of a marketing line than a principled stance they're taking against controllers. Especially if Bungie and Epic are working with it (as they're supposed to be), I reckon they'll need some sort of controller.
