Bro..if you move your PC into the living room then you won't have a PC in the back room. How the hell am I supposed to watch porn in the living room?

Also, my PC costs like 2,000 dollars. You think I'm gonna let mom touch it, even to put in a Blu-Ray?

Next, what am I supposed to play on my computer? All the good games have securom. Also, all the exclusive games are on consoles now. There is no first party for the computer.

Finally, I like to play games on a controller, but I can't exactly boot games up without my mouse and keyboard. It's unacceptable to have to change input methods. Also, do I have to buy a wireless mouse and keyboard?

...but wait, there's more. Do I expect everyone to have a 1000 dollar PC? They need one if they want to play HD games the way they are meant to be played. Ever try maxing out even old PC HD games with a duel core CPU? Bottleneck like a mug. Can't upgrade a CPU. In fact, most people can't upgrade a PC.

That said, yeah, it is possible to move my PC into the living room. Landing on the moon is also possible, but it is a hell of a lot more trouble than doing absolutely nothing, which is what a console requires. Also a hell of a lot more expensive, and requires a hell of a lot more training, and infinite knowledge.

It's been over 10 years since I've seen a $2000 PC at retail store. Right now 90% of PCs being sold are well below $1000. Times have changed.

So your problem is that you don't want your mom to catch you with the porn?! Blu-Ray is a non-factor when there's Digital Distribution for PC.

You really don't know what you're talking about, do you? Securom has several levels of DRM degrees, and the far majority of games with Securom use it just as a Disc-Check, nothing more, and no online check. Infact, after the recent negativity towards DRM, all publishers like EA, Ubisoft and THQ  completely stopped using online checks, and now are only using Disc-checks,

95% of Desktop PCs are below $1000, it's so freaking cheap right now. With $1000 you would be able to buy an incredible machine that would last you for atleast 10 years without upgrades.

Dude, Onlive is releasing a micro-console that plays PC games, consoles can't beat that. It's even tinier than the Wii.
