Actually, Wii Fit IS losing a bit of steam. Sales have not plummeted, but they are lower than ever before. It seems as if by the end of the year, Wii Fit might sell just about as much as the PS3.
If it has not caught up with the PS3 by the end of the year, I believe it will never be able to do that, since by then it will most likely be selling less than 100k on the normal week.
So the questions is whether or not it will oustell the PS3 by the end of the year. With a 100k lead per week, it might be possible, but I doubt Wii Fit will go over 250k per week again, not counting holiday weeks. So if the PS3 manages to sell more than 150k more than a couple of weeks, it should be safe from the embarrassment of being outsold by a Wii game.
