Endless Ocean 2 comes out Q1 2010...
It may seem shitty that Nintendo isn't releasing games faster but people are still buying older games. It's just business, if they speed up releases they are competing with themselves.
That being said, if the Wii sees a significant drop in hardware and software sales, they'll probably speed up releases to create interest. I just don't see that happening.
Edit: I wanted to bring up the sales "failure" Punch-Out!. This game outsold Bionic Commando and Terminator Salvation. I am guessing that the legs will also carry the game far beyond those and many others. On Wii first and third party games have incredible legs.
Edit2: BTW, I think third parties are way to quick to cut prices and do not actively promote games that are already out. They should not cut prices so soon (for their sake, not ours) and they should advertise more games that are actually on shelves.
