@Viper. Mine has 5 on each side.... Although there is a slightly bigger gap between the outer 2 than the central 3.

As far as my limited understanding of the Sony system goes:
For actual motion control, neither WM+ nor the wands is more accurate than the other without going into superhuman perception.... the difference is WP+ does need occassional callibration for certain things.
However... the wands are still lacking a camera in them unlike the Wii remote.... so as they rely on the PSeye seeing them, they are certainly not as good for pointing functions.... menus would be fine if they have big buttons (like PSeye can do without the wand) but using something like the onscreen keyboard I am now (and at almost half normal typing speed, which is pretty fast, and with few mistakes) would be problematic.
