there should always be a difference, so that we all know what each other are talking about. Games aren't blurring the lines. The forum lurkers are.

To tell the truth I think casual/hardcore should be applied to gamers, not games. You can play Wii Play in a hardcore way (check out Wii Play youtube videos).

 

I think we should just stop splitting everything in to two groups in general, they're both are rather flawed to begin with (and really, by today's standards, people seem to generally define the former as "lolnintendo" and the later as "HD M-RATED GAMEZ WITH GUNZ," which is rather lulzy in general as well).
