I wonder why Infinity Ward chooses not to support the Wii.

They don't need to when they get all the sales they want via the HD twins and PC, pointless making a Wii version which is doubtful would even sell that great, a lot of work for nothing, this is why you won't see a wii version.....

that makes no sense considering that CoD has always made money on Wii o_O;;; why settle for lower profit when you can obviously have more?

Maybe because they don't want to make it for the Wii.....

Right, that's the point I think, FK.

I think some people have been arguing that the way many companies and studios have ignored the Wii doesn't make fiscal sense. They've left money on the table at a time when most major publishers have lost money (EA, Take 2, Midway, SCi/Eidos, InfoGrames, Sony, Microsoft). This choice by Infinity Ward only solidifies that notion: we could rest assured that CoD6 would have sold quite well on the Wii, as CoD5 is on its way to ~1.5M sold.

So I believe the point -- which you seem to be agreeing with -- is that these aren't rational decisions based on business sense and good financial planning. These people are just PS3/360 fans. Which is to say, there is undue favoritism shown towards those two consoles.

I think that should be the argument. It sure is nice for fans of the 360 and PS3, and frustrating for PC, Wii, and DS afficianados.
