1. I just assumed the gyroscope was expensive enough, given it's a smaller version of what's used to keep cars on balance.
2. The relevant part to the title, for those who want to know, is that camera gyros can detect 300 degrees, which is less than a fifth of the 1600 the Motion+ can detect.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
