"Last week I suggested the Wii was headed for bumpier roads, not because the system lacks games, but because it lacks as many first tier titles as either the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. By "first tier," I mean stuff that's on everyone's radar before it comes out, games that make news beyond the enthusiast press, titles or franchises that sells around a million copies pretty much out the door, e.g. Halo, BioShock, Guitar Hero, Gears of War, etc. You may be really, really into Rayman Raving Rabbids or MySims or Carnival Games or Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party, and that's cool, but those games are small change on the sales charts."
I personally disagree with the authors logic. I think the Wii is following the same path as the PS1/2 and by end of next year will have pretty much all the exclusives by 3rd parties. While 360 and ps3 share everything else, and Wii getting ports of those as well.
