I was a bit iffy about the actual conference, but the games they showed canceled that negative out. My individual thoughts on the games that caught my eye:
New Super Mario Bros. Wii -- At first I was somewhat unsure about this title (I assumed it was just going to be "Animal Crossing City Folk" all over again), but hearing that it's not just a port of the DS title and actually contains some new features the DS one didn't have piqued my interest level up. I'll definitely be looking for this one.
Final Fantasy Crystal Bearers -- This game can't come soon enough. It looks so good; I pray that this will play similarly well.
WiiFit Plus & Wii Sports Resort -- Both of these seem to be upgrades of the already existing Wii titles. They do look pretty promising however (the Wii Motion + is interesting as well).
Super Mario Galaxy 2 -- Now THIS came out of nowhere for me; I loved MG, but I never dreamed I'd see a sequel--and with Yoshi in it, too, for crying out loud! That sold it for me.
Metroid: The Other M -- OH. MY. (SUBSTITUTE ANY WORD HERE). GOD! This game looks fantastic! Even though I liked the Prime games, I had been hoping to see a return to the norm with Metroid, and this looks like it'll be the one. Cinema sequences and graphics are all top notch. This is one to watch out for.
