Simple. It doesn't do HD and people get all excited over shiny objects that they miss the substance behind the object.

that's why all the 'mature' teen gamers have to have ps360's and wii sucks and wii this / that ps360 is da bomb etc. Too focused on tech and shininess and less focused on content.

Now you're just being ridiculous. If you think all HD games are just shoeshining with no ''content'', then you're either crazy or just plain ignorant.

I don't know but your sig reminds me of all the things I don't like about my PS3 (though there's lots to like).  Mainly, "press x to make cool animation on the screen happen"...  Not including the Six Axis, which I hate...

I love inFamous but there's no reason it couldn't have been done on PS2 with blockier models and pixelated textures. I love GT5 Prologue but there's nothing that couldn't have been done on PS2 with lower graphics. Killzone, same.  Heavenly Sword? They would have had to shorten her hair.  Etc. Etc. Etc.  MAG is 256 players of more of the same (from what I've seen so far).

Not to say that these games didn't have gameplay innovations, they did, it just had nothing to do with the graphical innovations (except maybe MAG).

But I am not going to call anybody wrong or ridiculous for preferring graphical innovation over gameplay innovation or vice versa.  To each there own.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
