In a nutshell...I would describe the multiplayer as Gears of War, but better.
The platforming, jumping, climbing, hanging, adds SO MUCH MORE to the gameplay.
In Gears MP, it's mainly duck-shoot, duck-shoot, rinse and repeat over and over. If you want to move around, you go from Point A to Point B to Point C...kind of slowly and sluggishly.
In Uncharted 2 MP... there's much more than just simply duck-shoot. There's stealth, there's variety, you have to use more strategy, you use the different levels on each map strategically. If you want to move around, you can go from Point A to Point D to Point B...all very smoothly thanks to the platforming. You're not restricted at all, like you are in Gears.
So to sum it up: The MP is like Gears, but better. Much better.
