What's up with the complaints about the Toad. They make perfect sense and are a good addition. The Mario games do not need to be flooded with characters. Most of the main games have been good about limiting the characters: Mario, Luigi, Bowser (the villain), Peach (the goal), Yoshi, Bowser Jr. (sometimes) and the Toads (the scared helpers). Yoshi is going to ride-able, so he's out. Peach and Bowser already have their roles, and Bowser Jr. will either be a villain or non-existent. The Toads make sense. Plus, the Yellow and Blue fill out the the colors (Mario is red and Luigi green).
