Really hoping this fails. Quickly. I dont want my games on some remote server when I already don't like the idea of having high end games that I can't touch. I'm ok with downloading some, but, never would I want my entire libary of games entirely on my hard drive.. let alone someone else's that I'll need an internet connection and subcription to play.
If I end my subcription, there goes my games? If I'm not connected online, I can't play my games? If there's a blackout, no games? Right...
The controller has a very weird PS3/360 design to it. it's shoulder buttons are even called R1, R2, L1, L2.. What's wrong with S1? Aside from that, it looks like a weird super deformed 360 controller with some sort of panel where the mic. jack goes.
For anyone looking to have their games saved on an HDD, PS3, and 360 does it.. I can't speak on the Wii because I don't own or like it. 512 MB with a 40 MB limit on wiiware games aren't too bright anyway.
And then, as said on by someone on that site. If those high end graphics cards aren't bough, and the companies aren't making money, because onlive found some way to get past it, why would they try to improve the graphics? How could they if onlive is taking their money away. What if onlive was the death of all video games? Well.. that's like an end to all movies.. I know it wont happen, but, no one's done an onlive type of thing with movies yet. Don't take that last setence seriously, please...
All in all, You already play with your friends online if you have the same system, or either you go visit them. Only thing onlive will do is open you up to more strangers. As if the 50, or 60 people you already run into that you don't know isn't enough.

... I bet there's someone with the same skill level you could be playing in kansas.. If you must.. find some other means in meeting penpals..
