Mission accomplished by Microsoft.  Without having a real product in the market, with a known price or known software support, it has the press reporters declaring it is "the Wii Killer".  And now you see why companies release information like this.

Brought over from another thread -

The main point here is that this news might be fresh now, since E3 is going on, but they quickly forget what they reported a day or 2 ago for the current news. Since NATAL wont be available for a year or more, the major stations will have long forgotten about it, as will any potential interest. The target audience for NATAL is geared towards casuals and super-tech people. The super-techs will remember, but they likely already are 360 or PS3 owners. The casuals have a 3 day consumer attention span. If they don't get reminded of it, its out of their heads within 3 days. Thus, all the E3 news will be dead to them by the weekend.
