And likely NSMB will have the longer legs, SMG being more blockbuster style. (still long legs compared to HD blockbusters)

It tracks about even with the big guns... Halo 3 does a bit better, but even a main Mario game has problems keeping up with Halo... it really shows how far Halo has come.  I'm tons of interested in the 2D game, but MG2 can suck it for all I care... 2D Mario FTW... now all we need is a new 2D Sonic that is awesome
