^ Oh, young earth creationists actually really grind my gears. They argue that all of the methods we use to date the earth are flawed because they believe elements decayed faster in the beginning of time and that light is slowing down and so on. But whatever we use to test it gives us the same date approximately... I'm going to trust the results of the test in this case.
It's a lot more accurate than saying the earth is 6000 years old because if you add up the age of these 700 year old people in a book it reaches 6000.
But luckily 99% of people I know are smart enough not to trust that method lol.
