So, on the actual topic: prices will be adjusted over time. The Wii is cheaper than the GameCube was here at launch, and although the 360 is still more than it should be, when they dropped the price I think we got a bigger drop than the U.S.

Really, you can't expect Wii prices to drop by $30 when the system is still so hard to find, and game prices being $10 extra sucks, but how many people will travel all the way to the U.S. to save $10 on a game or $30 on a Wii?  Maybe if you're going on a real shopping spree, or if you live right on the border, but for the most part we're at the mercy of local retailers.

Where it's really noticeable is in the auto industry, where we're paying at least ten thousand more for almost all new cars, sometimes $20-30K more. At those prices it's worth it to head south in spite of taxes/government regulations/etc., and I think anyone considering a new car in Canada should probably wait a few months...it seems to be causing a big stir in the media right now.
