Interesting comparison Zen, and something I've been doing in my head today without realizing it, I think.

I do think that when you actually sum up the sheer number of new PSP games on the near horizon, that you start to realize the PSP has gone from a software wasteland to a must-have system for many overnight.

A quick list (I'm making one anyway to justify my purchase, heh heh):

GT PSP in a few months*
MGS*, main series, written/developed by Kojima (according to him)
Resident Evil PSP*
Final Fantasy Dissidia
Final Fantasy XIII Agito
Parasite Eve
Kingdom Hearts PSP
LittleBigPlanet PSP
Motorstorm: Arctic Edge
Socom Bravo
Soul Caliber
Fat Princess PSP* (stealth announced!)
Echochrono*
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite
Jak and Daxter
Assasin's Creed, interacts with PS3 version and adds 6 to (doubles?) the number of weapons in the game.* A gimmick, but could be good.
Army of Two
Dante's Inferno
Lunar TSS Remake
FF VII* and 50 other PS1 classics, which would more than double the current US and European PSN store.

* = just announced at E3.

Those are all exclusives, I think -- the bottom few should be different from their console versions, I think? And they aren't possible anywhere but on the *cough* *choke*. God I'm getting tired of that :)

Anyway, while I'm really excited about the 360 lineup, and the big stuff they're dreaming up, wouldn't you agree that the push that's going on with the PSP is unprecedented on that system, while the 360 lineup is pretty much up to par now with what's been delivered in past years.

Now I just have to decide whether I want to get an older one, or the PSP Go... If the Go analog nub actually feels better, as some are saying (contrary to its appearance) then I'll probably go for the Go.
