With all the trolling I read at Microsoft's Conference thread, I don't remember seeing you give your input to the multitude of trolls in that thread. But you single me out for being truthful :( I didn't have to be there to hear that noone was cheering or clapping at Ninty's conference as they did throughout MS' conference and even the beginning of Sony's for Uncharted 2 and MAG. You and I both know that the audience was bored....no pot no kettle no black |
No, bashing other people for their opinions when uncalled for "Ninty fans are delusional" IS trolling tho.
I was acutally working during the MS conference, sorry I couldn't be around to see the trolling. Money = life.
You have to take into consideration the audience when dealing with each bunch. Sony fans like to amp up the smallest announcement to be of epic proportions, so they'd cheer if Sony was going to send them a free rock with Sackboy painted on it. MS fans like to amp up anything taken away from Sony's exclusive library or might one-up the Wii (Natal and MGS on 360). Nintendo fans only cheer for Zelda, nothing more, nothing less. If Zelda isn't shown, the response is "Nintendo hates us"
As a dev in the industry, I thought that Nintendo released a lot of good information, enough to keep all people, casual and core alike happy this year. The problem is, when you're on top, all eyes are on you and they expect you to deliver the sun and the stars IMMEDIATELY.
As for Sony's conference, the cheering for Hannah Montana seems to be the loudest of the bunch, so I'm not really sure what that says.
