That's an explanation that makes sence, still the Wii version is supposed to be $/€ 10,- cheaper, which might be a reason.
I think the Wii version will sell the best, because PS3/360 have Rockband coming as well and 360/PS2 already have GH.

But I'm sure it will do great on all platforms.
