Also Scandinavia data seems to be off, VGChartz contineously lists the Wii as outselling the PS3 there.

But with regard to Sweden, the biggest Scandinavian console market (11 /09 /2007):

"PlayStation 3 software has sold just over 93,000 units or EUR 5.4 million, while Wii titles have moved over 82,000 units or EUR 4.1 million." (based on tracking data)

With regard to Denmark (Maxconsole, 19 /08 /2007):

"If you thought that the PS3 starter pack was just a marketing gimmick that wouldn't be noticed by Europeans, then think again. According to a Danish website, sales of the PS3 are outselling the Wii by a ratio of 3.5:1 and the Xbox 360 by 6:1 in Denmark. This is all supposedly as a result of the new starter pack which was introduced by Sony. "

This while VGChartz around the time reported about twice as many Wii sales as compared to PS3 sales for Scandinavia.

So, IMO it seems the PS3 is undertracked in Scandinavia in comparison to the Nintendo Wii.
