I'm a Melee addict, but SMG will win in the end I think. If for no other reason but the fact that it will be packed in with the Wii in mid '08.
I mean, after all the cards are drawn... SMG is Nintendo's flagship game. DS or Wii, doesn't matter. Fair bets are that Miyamoto and his hand picked staff, made of some of the best designers in the business, put everything they had into this game. Even if the game isn't a good as Brawl, Nintendo will make sure it gets copies into customer's hands.
