Not true at all. There are tons of games and hardware that are displayed at E3 that never see the light of day.

In big ass conferences for the whole world to see?  I can't remember any of the hardware companies spending so much time in their E3 conference for something and then never release it.

well look back at E3 05 and you will see tons of forgotten games from Sony and the others. Hardware isn't really shown on a grand scale.

If you want the biggest failure in hardware shown at E3 go look at the Phantom gaming console.
