I was thinking about the same thing when I saw the demo of the girl driving with her two hands hold up. I was wondering how tolerant it would be for the gap between the two hands. There is no guaratee how a player can keep the same exact posture for the whole game especially when there are quick turns.
In addition, I was also wondering on how it would work with games in Wii Sports. Is it gonne detect all the hand movement for Bowling? accuracy for Golf and Tennis? It would be great for Boxing and Baseball though. However, for Golf, Tennis or Baseball, would the user miss holding something since the actual sport requires the players to hold a club, a raquet or a bat? Can a player bring his own club/raquet/bat to use?
A killer game would help MS selling this new contrller. However, that game was not shown today.
MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
