Exactly. Just look at it this way. All three companies have invested a large amount of money into their systems. You can view these systems as 'buildings' or 'skyscrapers'. If all it takes is a little gust of wind to knock these down, they weren't very good to start off with. This has been going for 3 years now, with a system always being Doomed, yet here we are, and all 3 are still standing. What makes anyone think that a little announcement from the competitor is going to thwart their multi-billion dollar investments.
