If multi platform is the future of the MGS series, then I see what you are saying, but there is one huge negative IMHO. Will we see an end to higher production values to the level of MGS4. Okay most people will want less cut scenes, but because of the difference in disc format, we will most likely see a reduction in size and quality IMHO. There is no way future MGS' will appear on 4/5 360 discs seeing as it would be daft and would cost too much on the royaly usage thingy that MS charges....so it ultimately means either lower quality on the 360 than the PS3 or lower quality all over.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it will be rubbish, but we will see less use of full quality non compression audio and graphics as well....which is a shame and isn't what Kojima is all about.
