Just a small quibble about terminology here, but I thought Microsoft's "breaking the bank" at this year's E3 was a hint that they had splashed cash at developers for exclusivity on title(s).

Whereas surely a new Halo would be inhouse developed and therefore not a case of breaking the bank to moneyhat?
