It's not as bad, but I still think it's pretty telling that there is some crazy fanboys at work here. To be fair, I didn't realize Super Mario Galaxy was going to be in the top ten also, and that felt just as wrong. It's just that neither game has stood the test of time and play more to the whims of members that are in love with the newest, shiniest games and can't think over the course of their gaming careers to other games that have stood out as much or more. However, maybe this site is just infested with more 14 year olds than I thought it was. I don't really care anymore. It is what it is. Let's just hope when this gets Digged that people on that site realize this was a community vote and don't think our editorial staff are morons.

I agree most of the members on this site are under 15, so you will probably see 1 or 2 games of this gen in top 10. Both games featured in the top 10 are regarded as the best of this gen (MGS4 and SMG), I must admit i was a bit dissapointed that ocarina of time was no1would have prefered super mario 64 or Super mario bros 3.

It's ok. I have a new reason to hate the list. Somehow 100 games were chosen and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night wasn't one of them. Aukward placements are one thing, but an omission of that caliber is unforgiveable. Considering how many great PSOne games made the list, this is especially egregious. Where's the love for the greatest 2D sidescroller ever VGC?
