It's like 18 billion times better than Hunters. They shouldn't even be considered in the same series. MPH is a mediocre straightforward shooter that makes liberal use of the Metroid universe.
Metroid Prime 1, 2, and 3 are beautiful games that take everything that was awesome about the 2d Metroids and translates them in breathtaking 3d counterparts. Every gamer should at least play Metroid Prime 1. The focus is on exploration and atmosphere; getting new powers, stuff like that. Not like lame straightforward Hunters.
