I am living proof that you are wrong.
Anyways, you should realize that if you make threads based on random bouts of thought, you'll get torn apart here.
Besides, the Gamecube wasn't a bad system by any means.
My theory for why the Wii is selling so well is that it has a lot of hype and a cheap price entry point. Most of the people I know bought a Wii for no specific reason and played other consoles (mostly the Xbox 360) for several months after buying it. We tried getting wasted while playing Mario Party 8, but it just didn't click.
Oh, and when I played the game sober it was much worse.
