We've known about Rabbids Go To The Moon for several months now and that it would be at E3. It's not coincidence that it's part of your "worst case E3 scenario" as it's something we've known would be there for a long time already.
Also, their 10 Most Anticipated E3 Games for Wii/DS doesn't even include the new Rabbids game nor was it their first pre-E3 article.
