It's a tricky subject. On the one hand, I agree with you that there's no excuse for a developer not giving us a full game when we buy it. However, I have no problem with something like The Lost and Damned or Shivering Isles, as the developers gave us complete experiences to begin with, and the new content was something they couldn't reasonably have been expected to include in the original package.
Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
