Uh, guys, not to burst anyone's bubble, but there are a host of free MMOs with larger install bases than WoW has.

This is, of course, because anyone who has ever signed up for the game and thought, "Eh, I'll give it a shot I guess, it's free" can be counted as a subscriber. Forever. Club Penguin has tens of millions of "subscribers," for example.

I haven't played this game, so I can't say whether it's good or not. I'm just making sure people have this in perspective -- 2 million for a free-to-play is a very different animal than 12 million paying subscribers, both statistically and economically.

Interestingly, Sony were interested in aquiring Club Penguin for 500 million 2 years back.

Theres some serious money to be made if a free MMO makes it big, and people start paying for subsciptions and extras.
