Despite the PS3 being in "3rd" place (a point which could be argued) I think the main reason why you seem to think there is a large Sony presence is because lately there has been nothing but good news from Sony. People are finally starting to realize that hey, despite being in 3rd place the PS3 is at the very least a decent console.
Your so called increase in a Sony presence is merely a decrease in Anti-Sony presence.
