Do the Sony Fanboys run the site? Let's have a discussion.

To expand upon my reasoning for the original quote that was used:

Every time we have a poll on VGChartz in regards to the 3 main consoles, whether it be which one do you like more, or which game, or which do you think will sell most, etc. the PS3/Sony seems to always have about a 3 to 1 lead over the 360/MS and about a 1.5-2 to 1 lead over the Wii/Nintendo. Now I am still relatively new to this site (only a member for about 8 months or so I think), so it stands to reason that the Nintendo domination could have superseded my coming here.

It is just that recently all I see are PS3 fanboys left and right, as well as 360 fanboys that seem to try to "counter" these PS3 ones (The Xbox Man for example). It really has gotten depressing lately. I ignore the 360 fanboys, and I try to approach every PS3 fanboy with logic but it just rarely seems to make a difference.

Sadly, I don't think it is possible to have such a thriving and popular site without fanboys. They cause drama and drama is what draws big crowds. Even on the best of days, if tons of new and qualified moderators were promoted in order to clean this place up, it would eventually leave it to a fraction of the life this site has today. That life would undoubtedly be more professional and enjoyable for some of us who value intelligence, but for the rest who just come here for entertainment purposes it could cause them to be driven away....
