The famitsu article does say it is for the PS3+PSP issue, maybe you are are all right. Part of the article does say something about different time zones (I can read a little Japanese), plus it says something about "interconnectivity". I think this may mean that a PS3 game and Psp game will both have optional content shared if played and synced between the two devices. Since 360 does not have a gaming handheld at the moment, this could only be between the PSP and the PS3. I am also thinking the guy with brown eyes could be null from portable ops a.k.a. Frank yager. That is why the eyes do not match up with raiden, also Hideo does not call the Big Boss looking dude by name. He calls him "old man", maybe this could be a reference to a remake on one console for the original metal gear game that dealt with outter heaven and a portable game of another clone or raiden in a adventure 7 years after metal gear solid 4.
