Finally some good news! For the first time in what seems like an eternity, the machines are all up in Americas.
Then, the bad news comes... Year over Year.
YoY:
Machine - Last Year - This Year - Difference
DS - 148K - 129K - Down 19K - Down 12.8%
Wii - 357K - 120K - Down 237K - Down 66.3%
X360 - 53K - 56K - Up 3K - Up 5.6%
PsP - 53K - 30K - Down 23K - Down 43.4%
Ps3 - 45K - 41K - Down 4K - Down 8.8%
Ps2 - 27K - 35K - Up 8K - Up 29.6%
Ps2 is up the most. X360, Ps2, Ps3 and DS are doing decently. PsP and Wii are doing rather terribly.
It should be noted that Wii was very spiky during this time last year. For the 2 weeks ending this week (and same last year) it is "only" down 55%.
When I write Fact: in one part of the post, and opinion: (or a similar word), it's not because I can then say "my opinion can't be wrong". It is to inform what part is pure facts, and which part I try to draw a conclusion in.
